Schedule Gua Sha Session

What is Gua Sha?

Traditionally called spooning, coining, or scraping, Gua Sha is an instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization technique to break up fascial restrictions and scar tissue adhesions in the myo-fascia (muscle and connective tissue) to relieve chronic muscle spasms and tension patterns that can be the root cause of chronic pain.

This therapy breaks up fascial adhesions and scar tissue. The red-purple strips seen are ‘sha’ or polluted blood being released from the tissue. This technique stimulates angiogenesis (new blood vessel growth) which promotes blood circulation to the muscles.
